With her love of dance and determination to influence the lives of children, Jennifer opened Acapriccio Dance Company in 1998. Jennifer has been involved in dance and performing almost all of her life. She has been offering unsurpassed dance instruction in all areas of dance for more than 15 years. Jennifer has previous experience as a competition dancer, as well as having performed in many stage productions and musicals.
Working with the competition team at Acapriccio Dance Company, Jennifer has won many awards for her unique choreography. She attends conventions and workshops through the United States each year to continue her dance education. Jennifer and her staff of instructors and assistants are dedicated to the philosophy that dance is meant to be fun and that a personal approach is the key to providing the best dance training.
Jennifer is married to Jeremy, who can be seen helping around the studio, and have 4 boys, Andrew, Ezekiel, Easten and Elias, who are involved in dance classes and assisting.
Sarah joined Acapriccio Dance Company as an instructor in 2005, bringing with her over 20 years of formal dance training and an extensive background in choreography. Sarah teaches all disciplines of dance and also works with the competition team. She is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in dance.
While a student at UNI, she was a member of the Orchesis Dance Company. Sarah was also a featured performed in the musicals "Cabaret", "Jesus Christ Superstar", "Camelot" and "The Whiz". A highlight for Sarah was performing at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Sarah also has an abundance of experience in choreographing musicals, such as "Footloose", "Brigadoon" and "Seussical". She continues to focus on continuing her dance education through workshops and conventions held throughout the US.
Sarah is a brilliant instructor and choreographer who strives to give each class a personal approach in her teaching style.
Briana was born and raised in Nebraska where she began her dance training at a young age at Broadway and Mainstreet Dance Studio, under the direction of Kathy Morrison. During high school, she opened her own studio, Dynamix Dance, to help continue the love of dance for the community's youth. Briana then attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where she was a member of the UNK Cheerleading squad and UNK Sapphires Dance Team. After Kearney, Briana became a full-time instructor at Acapriccio Dance Company, working with both our Recital dancers, as well as the Competition Team.
At ADC, she attended several nationally known competitions and was recognized for her outstanding choreography. Briana has experience in several styles of dance and she continues to attend several conventions and workshops through the US to further her dance education.
We are happy to have Briana back at ADC after a short venture out to the Pacific Northwest, where she was able to continue teaching at a Gift of Dance and Infinity Dance Company in Washington state.

McKenzie has been dancing since the age of 3 and began her training in Kearney, NE, where she grew up. Her experience in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and hip-hop prepared her for 3 years as a competitive dancer and 4 years of assisting in the studio.
McKenzie was also a member of the Pleasanton High School Dance Team for 4 years, serving as Captain for 2 years. She moved to Omaha in 2010 and most recently, graduated from College of Saint Mary with her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
McKenzie has been a part of the staff at Acapriccio Dance Company since 2011 and we couldn’t be more pleased to have her!
Kelsee began her dancing career at Acapriccio Dance Company when the doors opened in 1998 at the age of 3. Her experience ranges from jazz, ballet and tap to acro, pom and hip-hop. Kelsee was a member of the Acapriccio Dance Company Competition Team for 7 years before becoming a member of the Papillion-La Vista South High School Sapphires Dance Team her freshman and sophomore years of high school. She began assisting at ADC in 2007, as a junior assistant and has been a part of the ADC staff ever since. Most recently, Kelsee graduated from Peru State College with her Bachelor's degree in K-12 Special Education and will be working towards a Masters degree.
Kelsee is passionate about inistilling the same love for dance into her students that Acapriccio Dance Company has instilled in her over the past 20 years.
